At this point, our chief accomplishments include mproving and finalizing the scope, working closely with our project partner, the Quaker Valley Council of Governments, as well as continuing with informal site/corridor visits and preliminary background research. While this has not been identified as billable project work, it has involved considerable time and effort to insure that the project is well aligned with broader research efforts and responsive to ongoing community and mobility priorities. Partners: In addition, our accomplishments include confirming the Quaker Valley Council of Governments is a partner. Match: In addition, our accomplishments include confirming the budget match equal to or more than 100K. The budget match is identified in the uploaded letters, includes QVCOG, Michael Baker Intl/PennDOT and CMU PI mobility/transportation university teaching. Issues The chief issue regarding the delayed start off this project has been the challenge of reaching agreement with our partners for a related project, the Regional Highway Corridor 2020/2021 project, administered by the primary contractor, Michael Baker International, with PennDOT funding for a project total of 140,000. This project forms part of the necessary match for Local Mobility Improvements in the Region. This project had originally anticipated a CMU and PennDOT overarching research agreement, which was not forthcoming. After considerable review and deliberation, we have an alternative path forward for the project, and plan to begin work on it in 2020. This has allowed us to resolve the match issue, and enables us to move forward with the related LMICR work.
